VR training environments

To ensure that we help as many people as possible, we have made it possible to access our training simulations via a wide range of devices.

You can view the simulations in VR via a dedicated VR headset or via a smartphone placed inside of a wearable phone holder. You can also view the simulations in 2D on a computer or tablet. Apps and instructions for each method are listed below.

Prior to entering our simulations in VR, please see our safety warning.

Dedicated VR headsets

If you already own a dedicated VR headset (such as a Quest, Pico, or Vision Pro), you can access the training environments by launching our web-based headset app via the button below.

Computers and tablets

If you would like to view the simulations on a larger screen in 2D mode, you can use our web app, via the button below.

Android smartphones

To view the training environments in VR on an Android phone, you will need a wearable phone holder and an Android phone (with our app installed).

The wearable phone holders are widely available online (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4)You can download our Android app for free here or scan the QR code below. Be sure to fully install it prior to use.

In the app, you will be able to browse simulations via the dropdown menus. Once you open a simulation, you can enter VR mode by pressing the VR button in the bottom right of the screen. It will then enter split-screen view and will be ready to insert into your wearable phone holder.

When you first use the app, we recommend that you calibrate the app to your specific phone and phone holder (you will only need to do this once - it will save your settings). To do this, enter VR mode and press the "three dots icon" in the top right of the screen, then select "Use another device", then scan the calibration QR code that came with your phone holder.

Don't have a calibration code? Try this one:

If your phone holder looks different, you may be able to find the calibration code from this list here.

iPhones

To view the training environments in VR on an iPhone, you will need a wearable phone holder and an iPhone (with our app installed).

The wearable phone holders are widely available online (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4). You can download our iPhone app for free here or scan the QR code below.

In the app, you will be able to browse simulations via the dropdown menus. Once you open a simulation, it will load in the split-screen view and will be ready to insert into your wearable phone holder.

If you have a larger than average iPhone, you may need to adjust the IPD settings to ensure that the left eye and right eye overlap correctly in VR-mode. If the view isn't facing forward press "reset view".
