Android VR tutorial
Prior to entering our VR practice stages, see our safety warning.
To view VR content on your phone, you will need a ‘device mount’. They are widely available online.
For the best experience, turn off notifications, disable auto-dimming features, and turn up the screen brightness.
Step 1
Scan or press the relevant QR code below (the QR codes for Android phones always begin with the prefix "And")
Step 2
Check/adjust the image settings:
• Enter full screen mode (icon in the bottom right of the image)
• Select full image quality (‘cog icon’, “Quality”, “Advanced”, “2160s”)
• Select loop mode (‘cog icon’, “Additional settings”, “Loop video”)
• Enter VR mode (‘cog icon’, “Additional settings”, “Watch in VR”)

Step 4
Once calibrated, you can double check the image settings, insert your phone into your device mount, and begin viewing in virtual reality.

*Please note, you will only need to calibrate your device once (it will save the settings on your phone). And so, when you access another VR training environment, you can skip “Step 3”.
